Do I need to have a trial?
No. However, I do recommend one for the bride so that we're both confident and happy with the chosen style and we know that the wedding morning will run smoothly. There's also the chance to leave the hair in and wear it all day so you can really get a feel for it. I always advise looking in the mirror and taking selfies so you know you're truly happy with it and you will know if there's anything we need to tweak on the day.
What time will you arrive on the wedding morning?
That all depends on the time of the ceremony and how many people there are to style. I will give you a schedule beforehand which will include time to arrive and set up, plenty of time to do everyone's hair and time at the end for any touch ups. I will make sure we're all finished at least an hour before the ceremony so that you have plenty of time to get into your dresses and have photos.
Do I need to supply my own hair grips and pins?
No. I bring everything I need which includes grips, styling products, heat tools, bobbles and padding. The only thing you will need is any accessories and veil.
Do you come to me on the wedding morning?
Yes absolutely. I come to you on the morning whether that be a hotel, wedding venue, your house or an air B&B. All I ask is that there's an area suitable with a chair for you to sit on and access to a plug socket. This can be a bedroom, kitchen or living area.
Not everyone has long hair, can you do short hair?
Yes of course. As a qualified and experienced hairdresser I can blow dry and style all hair types, short or long.
How soon do I need to book?
As soon as you know you want me to do your hair, I would recommend booking. I'd especially recommend booking ahead if you're getting married during the peak wedding season as it's always a busy time and usually gets booked up a year or two in advance.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. I require a small deposit of £50 to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the wedding.
