I'm Lyndsey and I am trained up to an NVQ level 3 in hairdressing and an NVQ level 2 in barbering. I began my hairdressing career in 2009 when I began training at West Cheshire College. After two years in college and training up to a level 2, I began an apprenticeship at a popular independent salon on the outskirts of Chester. Here I continued my training and completed an NVQ level 3 which raised my standard from basic techniques to more creative cutting and colouring, hair up techniques and colour correction. Wishing to develop my skills further and to gain a wide range of knowledge, I then went on to complete an NVQ level 2 in barbering. While completing all of this training, I also started to take on my own clients within the salon and progressed from a graduate stylist up to senior stylist. Through building a large, loyal client base, I gained experience creating a wide range of different styles based on the clients needs and lifestyles. It was during this time that I also found my love for hair up and bridal styles. In 2017 I decided to leave the salon and begin working freelance. Since moving from Chester at the end of 2021 I have now gained a loyal clientele in North Wales. I also return back to Chester on a Monday where I love visiting my long standing clients. My love for hair-up has continued over the years and I regularly visit hotels and wedding venues to do the hair for bridal parties of all sizes.
