My name is Lyndsey and I am a mobile hairdresser. I previously worked in a salon just outside Chester City Centre but decided to go mobile in 2017. I have never looked back and love working for myself. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work and there's so much more to running a business than just being a hairdresser. I have an NVQ level 3 in hairdressing and an NVQ level 2 in barbering. I also have a passion for bridal hair. Who doesn't love a good wedding? I may not get to party the day and night away, but being there with the bridal party in the morning and seeing their excitement is such a lovely experience. When I'm not doing wedding hair, I travel to my clients and offer other hairdressing services such as colouring, cutting, styling and gents hair.
In my spare time I love being outdoors and a lot of my clients know me as being a keen runner. Over the past couple of years I haven't done so much of that but I've still been enjoying the outdoors and have done more walking and hiking, mainly in North Wales. As I'm back in lockdown and unable to work, I've taken up running again and I'm now on week three of a twelve week half marathon plan. I think I may have found my love for running again already. Today I went out for a run even though it was pouring down. I got absolutely soaked but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lets hope it continues.
